Principle function – DuoDERM® CGF™ Dressing is a hydrocolloid, moisture-retentive wound dressing used for partial and full-thickness wounds with low to moderate exudate.
Recommended use– DuoDERM® CGF™ Dressing is indicated for chronic wounds – pressure ulcers & leg ulcers. Acute wounds – traumatic wounds (minor abrasions, lacerations) partial thickness burns and donor sites. Can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
Frequency ofdressing change – DuoDERM® CGF™ canbe left on for several days, depending on the level of exudate. The dressing should be changedonce 75% saturated. Ensure dressing extends 3cm beyond wound margins.
Precautions – If clinical signs of infection are present, DuoDERM® CGF™ can be continued if appropriate infection treatment is commenced.
Contraindications– Dressing should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction to components in the dressing.

Product type – enzyme alginogel®, indicated for the use of minimal to moderately exuding wounds
Principle function – Flaminal® has three main functions which are; promotion of a moist wound healing environment, aid in continuous autolytic Debridement and promote antibacterial activity within the wound environment.
Recommended use – indicated for the treatment of leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, complex grazes, 2nd degree burns, oncology wounds & wounds from dermatosurgery.
Frequency of dressing change – Flaminal® hydro should be applied thickly to the wound bed (approx. 5mm thick) and covered with a secondary dressing. This can be left in place for up to 3-4 days, depending on the level of exudate. Dressing should be checked daily.
Precautions – should Flaminal® come in contact with the eye, ensure the eye is rinsed thoroughly with running water and consult a doctor.
Contraindications – Flaminal® is not indicated in patients with a known allergy to any of the components. Flaminal® cannot be used on the eyelids or in the eye.

Product type – Cadexomer iodine.
Principle function – When applied to the wound, Iodosorb cleans it by absorbing fluids, removing exudate, pus and debris and forming a gel over the wound surface. As the ointment swells, iodine is released, killing bacteria in the wound.
Recommended use– Iodosorb ointment contains 50% cadexomer iodine and 50% ointment base. It is used on moderate to high exuding wounds to assist to break through biofilm and deslough.
Frequency of dressing change – Iodosorb changes colour from brown to yellow when the dressing requires changing which is usually 1 -3 days.
Precautions – The dressing is a primary dressing and should be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing.
Contraindications– Dressing should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction iodine based products, or for prolonged periods of time, longer then 4 weeks with any type of thyroid dysfunction.

Product type – Debriding wound dressing.
Principle function – An interactive moist wound dressing which provides continuous debriding and conditioning for effective wound bed preparation. The central core of the super absorbent polyacrylate (SAP) is activated isotonic Ringer’s solution which produces a continuous rinsing effect to promote effective wound bed preparation.
Recommended use– HydroClean® Plus is recommended for debriding sloughy or necrotic tissue, for optimal wound bed preparation.
Frequency of dressing change – HydroClean® Plus can be left on for up to 3 days, depending on the level of exudate. A secondary dressing such as Zetuvit Plus is required for exudating wounds.
Precautions – If clinical signs of infection are present with HydroClean® Plus switching to a silver and/ or antibiotic therapy should be reviewed and referred to a medical practitioner.

Principle function – Microdacyn Wound Care Solution is used to assist in cleaning, irrigating, desloughing and debriding wounds at every dressing change within any human cavity. Microdacyn® Wound Care Solution is a super-oxidised solution giving it a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and anti-inflammatory properties
Recommended use– Apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution generously to sufficiently wash the wound and soften and slough. Placing Microdacyn soaked gauze for up to 10 minutes on the wound will further assist with slough removal. Microdacyn Wound Care Soaked gauze is suitable for packing wounds. Continue to apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution through the cleaning process, do not rinse out when finished.
Frequency of dressing change – Apply Microdacyn Wound Care Solution at every dressing change or up 3 times a day. Microdacyn Wound Care Solution may be used to soften adhered bandages for removal with less trauma to the wound.
Precautions – Microdacyn Wound Care Solution must be applied in excess.
Microdacyn Wound Care Solution will not develop bacterial resistance
Contraindications– Microdacyn Wound Care Solution is compatible with every secondary dressing. Do not use Microdacyn Wound Care if you are allergic or sensitive to hypochlorous acid or sodium hypochlorite
